Overlooking the River Thames, the hotel offers excellent service with a few tired aspects in the rooms. The views are great, and the staff are friendly and fun, making the stay enjoyable. The location is ideal with easy access to London, but some minor cleanliness issues were noted. The dining experience is decent, especially the tasty sausages, but room for improvement on cup sizes. Overall, a comfortable stay with a lovely terrace view and self-serve options.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a bit challenging for us with knee problems due to the stairs and the mattress setup. However, the efficient and friendly staff made our stay pleasant. The location was convenient, with bonus parking, but some maintenance issues were apparent. The dining experience fell short of expectations despite some positives.

Rooms

The rooms, though not ideal for us with knee problems, were clean and made up of two mattresses, one very firm with a hard ridge between them.
Service

The staff we encountered, including the chef, were friendly and efficient, making up for the dated but clean room.
Location
6.0
The hotel is well-located with a view to the Thames and within walking distance of our event, but it needs some maintenance and TLC.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience, especially the English breakfast, left much to be desired. It was buffet-style but cold and greasy, not meeting the expectations for a 3-star hotel.
Facilities
The hotel offers various amenities, but certain areas need more maintenance, particularly lighting and bulbs.

The hotel might not be the height of luxury with frayed, ill-fitting curtains and scuffs on the walls, and the rooms are slightly on the small side of standard, but it could do with a refresh. However, the service is polite, efficient, and helpful. The location, especially for those walking the Thames path, is paramount with off-street parking nearby. Dining had its ups and downs but included the best-cooked breakfast ever. Overall, it's a mixed bag but offers a decent stay.
